Steakhouse Burgers

Ingredients
Burgers
16 ounces of ground beef
1/2 cup of yellow onion, grated
2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 egg, whisked
1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Toppings
4 slices of sharp cheddar
2 cups of crispy onion straws
Leafy green lettuce
Tomatoes
Garlic aioli
4 burger buns

You will also need a SIGNATUREseries Cast Iron Skillet.
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine 16 ounces of ground beef with 1/2 cup of grated yellow onion, 2 cloves of finely minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, a whisked egg, 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty.
  3. Allow the patties to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  4. Place a cast iron skillet over medium to medium-high heat or use a grill plate over an open flame.
  5. Cook the burgers to your desired doneness.
  6. About 60 seconds before removing the burgers from the heat, place a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top of each patty.
  7. Once the burgers are done, let them rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the base of each burger bun and topping with crispy onion straws. Add leafy green lettuce, tomatoes, and a dollop of garlic aioli as desired.
  9. Serve hot.
